This past week..........

Well I think everyone that reads this knows what all has been going on at my house this past week. Shawn is feeling ok. He is very frustrated and mad. I guess you would be when your face is not working the way you want it to. His speach has gotten worse, but the dr said that might happen. And his poor eye. I have bought all kinds of stuff to help it but nothing is working. I cant wait to get to the neurologist to see what all they say and what we can do for these side effects. We are very blessed to have great family and friends that have prayed for us. I think our prayers have been answered and are pretty sure it was not a stroke.
Kinsey is now feeling a bit better. I decided to go with my instincts and take her to the hospital yesterday. She has had a killer rash and I mean killer. So startling I could not take her out of the house. I took her to the pediatrician twice and a specialist once. At the 12th day I had had it and she was miserable and the rash had gotten about 100 times worse than the day before. I took her to the childrens hospital in Atlanta and they were a bit horrified and rushed us right back. (second time this week I have gone to a hospital and not had to wait in the waiting room, not a good feeling!) They diagnosed her and bascially she is having a reaction to something and it could be her vaccinations she had 12 days ago. Not the vaccine itself but what they use to make them, And her body was trying to attack it but was in hives and it was feeding off itself and thats why it was getting worse and worse. So now we are on steroids and some other meds and are 50% better today!!!!!!! So we are now I think on the upswing of things!! hooray!
